I want to believe
There is some of the game that’s solid, makes me want to get up and go for a walk. And that exercise has sets of costs I would avoid otherwise in life, which means to me, since I incur costs just to play routinely, it’s functionally a subscription game.
Anyway, if you skip over things like building and any collecting, the trivia and chance for $10 gift cards can make for a nice idle game to enjoy likely while out for a walk.
Lots of promises but no pay outs
I started playing this game in 2020. Originally the game was a crypto earning game. They took the crypto away without an in game warning. I was blindsided, and I never received my btc and eth. Now the game offers cubiecoins as rewards with no way of cashing those out. I recently learned that the same company is currently being sued by the FCC for a different project. I don’t believe this game will ever offer the users proper pay out while collecting data including a user’s location and health data. There are no in game guides, and the holiday events are tedious and offer little rewards for your efforts. The only way to figure out how to play the game is to be a party of their toxic discord where the players joke about trespassing and school shootings. They will also block users from the discord for giving criticism of the game which makes the game impossible to play. I plan on deleting the app after I am able to cash out my cubiecoins….if that ever happens.
Stick with it and move
At first, I had difficulty figuring out what to do. You really can’t play it unless you’re moving around which is the whole point. It’s as much a fitness app as a trivia one. If you put in the effort to actually walk (or run), it’s awesome and the trivia keeps it really interesting.
